OUR MISSION
Our guiding principle is the practice in accordance with the line of succession of spiritual teachers (Śraddhā). This guiding principles coincides with respect for the authority of the Holy Scriptures, the values of spiritual life and cultural heritage of Hinduism. Additionally, part of its core are the convergent currents of Panentheism (īśāvāsyam), as the One Omnipresent Reality and Identity manifested World with is Source, Presence and Manifestation of Source through the Universe.
We fulfill and propagate spiritual practices (sādhanā) and sacred principles (dharma) designed to help achieve the ultimate goal of life (moksha) with the recognition of the following values of well-being: health and friendship (artha),conscious, loving relationships and sensual pleasures (kāma).
WHO ARE WE?
The religious commune in Lublin – SŪRYA KĀNAN was established on the most auspicious day (akṣaya tṛtīyā), which was the 10 May 2024, to cultivate the ancient Tradition of worshiping the Sun God (sūrya) in accordance with the principles and values passed down in the spiritual line of succession present in the Hindu rites.
The name SŪRYA KĀNAN originates from Sanskrit and translates to the „Garden of the Sun God” (a garden or grove of the house). We desire for this place to be a home for anyone searching for spiritual truth (satyā), peace (śānti) and joy (ānanda). We are spreading our spiritual practices that have guided our lives over the last 20 years.
We have legal personality as an organizational unit of Wyznawców Słońca (Worshipers of the Sun), which is registered at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration („MSWiA”).
